Coffee and a Snack

Image
Whether you're enjoying a cold brew or a warm coffee, normally a snack accompanies your drink. As I sit here enjoying a nice hot cup of PeaceKeeper, I am wishing that I had a donut from Boise's DK Donuts. A plain donut with maple glaze and drizzled with chocolate would hit the spot! I want to know, what are your favorite snacks/desserts to have with coffee? I know that I enjoy Trader Joe's seasonal Kringle Danish during the holidays especially. Donuts? Danish? Something wacky? Let us know how you enjoy your favorite hot beverage!

After finishing the coffee I had questioned my favoritism for hot coffee opposed to cold brewed coffee. I think the article posted below does a great job breaking down the specific benefits of the two serving orientations of coffee. https://sprudge.com/is-hot-coffee-better-for-you-than-cold-brew-138025.html Since I know I am not the only one that has questioned which one is their favorite, I thought I would search for the benefits of both hot and cold brew. Good evening fellow coffee aficionados, I would like to share an article with you that has recently observed a positive correlation between drinking coffee and lower risks of developing Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. The author breaks down the specific chemical composition of our favorite hot beverage and what the suspected wonder agent could possibly be. This is a very interesting read that adds even more merit and evidence surrounding the benefits of drinking coffee! As always, enjoy! https://eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2018-11/uhn-dcm110518.php
